Ferrari chairman reveals hybrid Enzo will come this year
We've seen both the fast, and the furious, when it comes to hybrid cars -- but we've yet to see a battery-packing Ferrari roll out of concept, and onto the forecourt. Well, according to Luca di Montezemolo -- the firm's chairman -- we'll finally be able to strike the latter off the list as soon as this year. A limited special edition Enzo was announced at the tail end of the supercar manufacturer's recent financial report. No further details at this time, but the optimistic among you might want to start getting trade-in quotes on that Prius now. Catch the full report is after the break.

Joe Jonas Hopes To Work With Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry In Pepsi Ads
New 'Live for Now' campaign encourages fans to live in the moment, Jonas Brother tells MTV News.
By Jocelyn Vena
What do Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry and Joe Jonas have in common? Well, aside from being internationally renowned pop stars, all three are involved in a new campaign Pepsi has just launched. "Live for Now" focuses on the motto "carpe diem" and celebrates spontaneity through events, digital marketing and, of course, musical partnerships.
For Jonas, the opportunity to spread that message fits with his own philosophy about living life to the fullest. "It's, I think, a good match. A lot of stuff that I love to do is spontaneous, last minute and living in the moment," he explained to MTV News. "And what better way to encourage people and my fans to be able to live in the moment? 'Live for Now' is tweeting about it and getting them involved."
As for being the face of the campaign alongside Perry and Minaj (whose Pepsi ads already debuted), well, for Joe, that was icing on the cake. "I'm in great company: Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, more people to come, it's an incredible little circle right now," he explained.
"So, hopefully, we'll all be able to do something together one day. But, as for now, just being able to do it individually and encourage their fans, my fans to get out there, or whomever, and be able to send in their little videos or pictures of them doing things that are in the moment."
And, he added, those moments can be big or small. "I love being able to travel, take trips," he said. "I called my buddies up. I literally called one of my best friends [brother-in-law Mikey Deleasa], he showed up to my house in New York, and I'm like, 'Hey, what are you doing tomorrow? Let's go to Vegas. Let's do it!' We had an incredible trip. We went to the Mayweather fight, and living in the moment and having a good time.
"But, if you can't take Vegas trips on the weekend, there's amazing things to do probably in your area," he added. "Or, a road trip with your friends is always great."
Earlier this month, Pepsi announced that Michael Jackson, who struck a deal with the brand in 1984, will be featured on Pepsi cans as a part of the campaign. The cans arrive Stateside later this month.

Facebook testing 'highlight' feature, lets users pay $2 to promote their status updates
Finding ways to throw money at Mark Zuckerberg is notoriously difficult, but a new 'highlight' feature could be just the trick. Currently being tested with a small population of users, it allows an ordinary member to pay $2 to ensure that their latest status update crops up in more of their friends' news streams. Ordinarily, the degree to which a status update is streamed depends on the number of likes or comments it has, which ensures that users generally only see the juiciest gossip, but paying this little premium would cause Facebook's algorithms to distort that in your favor. In other words, it's money replacing popularity, or simply -- sigh -- life.

Dedicated to supporting and enhancing the lives of America?s Armed Forces, the USO kicked off its 2012 Military Families Campaign on March 26. ????Just days into their seven-day USO tour, the group has lifted the spirits of countless sailors, airmen and their families stationed at Kadena Air Base and White Beach Naval Base.

- ????As part of the 7-day visit to the Pacific, the group will also extend their heartfelt gratitude, pose for photos, sign autographs and share insight into the world of acting.
- ????All equally touched by the service and sacrifice of today?s troops and their families, Galecki, King and McKenzie possess personal ties to the military. Galecki was born in Belgium, where his father was stationed while serving in the U.S. Air Force, and King, whose father was a Private First Class in the Korean War and whose stepfather was a Paratrooper in the Vietnam War, also has a close cousin, who is a First Sergeant and has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. QUOTES:
Attributed to Johnny Galecki:
?The USO tour has been an incredible and eye-opening experience. It?s been a true honor to express our gratitude personally ? not only with the men and women in service, but with their spouses and children who also sacrifice so much for our country. Those of us in the entertainment industry understand the profound effect of collaboration ? the importance of each and every hand involved. It?s been an amazing opportunity to thank so many in our armed services face-to-face.?
Attributed to Steven Molaro:
?The opportunity to meet all of the military personnel and their families has been a joy and an honor. While we?ve gotten to see so many amazing things during our stay here in Japan, I realized the highlight has been simply getting to thank everyone for their invaluable service to our country. It?s obvious to all of us involved, this is a trip we will never forget.?
Attributed to Michael Cudlitz:
?Every handshake and every smile is a crystal clear reminder of how important the USO?s work is. Thank you!?
Attributed to Regina King:
?Being in Japan with the USO and seeing so many faces light up by our visit forces you to see the importance of these tours. These trips aren?t about taking a break from the set or even traveling to a foreign land ? they are about showing our troops and their families that people genuinely care about them and letting them know that they aren?t forgotten.?
Attributed to Ben McKenzie:
?My grandfather was in the Navy and was out here in the Pacific and my grandmother also performed in several USO shows in WWII and with my grandfather?s passing last year it meant a lot to me to come out here and meet the troops to thank them for their service to our country.?

Struggling RIM announces new executive hires
TORONTO (AP) ? BlackBerry maker Research in Motion Ltd. said Tuesday that it has hired two new senior executives, including a marketing chief, as the company looks to regain market share lost to Apple's iPhone.
RIM said Frank Boulben will be the new chief marketing officer, a job RIM's new CEO Thorsten Heins described as critically important for the struggling company.
Boulben, 45, served as executive vice president of strategy and marketing at LightSquared, a wireless company that has been struggling since U.S. regulators moved to kill its proposed nationwide broadband network. Boulben also held senior positions at wireless carriers Vodafone Group and Orange.
Kristian Tear is the new chief operating officer. Tear, 48, was executive vice president of Sony Mobile Communications, a unit of another struggling technology company, Sony Corp.
Heins said both possess a keen understanding of the rapidly changing wireless market and will help sharpen RIM's focus.
The once iconic BlackBerry company is facing its most difficult period in its history. RIM is working on launching a new operating system just as Americans are abandoning their BlackBerrys for iPhones and models that run Google's Android software. Analysts believe RIM's futures depends on the new BlackBerry 10 operating platform due out later this year, although many say it may come too late.
RIM has been without a chief marketing officer since last year and without a chief operating officer since Heins was promoted in January. Heins replaced co-CEO's Jim Balsillie and Mike Lazaridis after the company lost tens of billions in market value.
Heins has said that RIM has to improve its marketing. Boulben will be in charge of that.
"RIM is a pioneer in the mobile world and the BlackBerry brand is a global icon," Boulben said in a statement. "We all know how fast the mobile arena evolves and with the BlackBerry 10 platform, I believe RIM will once again change the way individuals and enterprises engage with each other."
The Waterloo, Ontario-based company has long dominated the corporate smartphone market. Its BlackBerry's are known for their security and reliability. President Obama even refused to part with his BlackBerry after he took office.
But while RIM still has 77 million subscribers and continues to enjoy success in emerging markets, it has had limited success in the U.S. consumer market in recent years, particularly with high-end devices that sport touch screens popular with consumers. Touch-screen BlackBerrys that lack physical keyboards have largely flopped. BlackBerrys also lag iPhones and Android phones when it comes to running third-party applications.
RIM is also dealing with a "bring your own device" trend, in which employees bring their personal iPhones or Android devices to work instead of relying on BlackBerrys issued by their employers.
Colin Gillis, an analyst with BGC Financial, said Boulben's task will be to find a way for RIM to simplify its message without ignoring the consumer market.
"Quite frankly the marketing bar is so low that a basic competent professional should be able to improve their messaging," Gillis said.
RIM's stock closed up 19 cents, or 1.6 percent, at $12.01 in trading on Nasdaq.
